Well, this is it. I've been thinking for a while about having a blog as a diary. Today is a good day the sun is shining(ish), music on the radio, coffee by my side and feeling good. I went into town today and bought a book on Maggie Thatcher by John Seargent. Now Maggie is not a favourite politician of mine - I believe she did this country untold social damage and we are still living with the after effects. It'll be interesting to read this critique now a few years have passed since her reign - and it did feel like a reign at the time.
Third cycle of my treatment today, I've noticed that my fingertips are becoming a little sore and red so I'll have to get some cream. Still side effects must mean that the medicine is doing something.
Just over 2 weeks to go now before our hols in France - can't wait. I'm looking forward to it being an extended family holiday with my kids and Reid's kids. Don't think we'll see that much of them though I'm sure they're going to be partying most nights. Mind you, then again so shall I - but not in the same way that I did when I was 18!
Reid will be home soon, finishes early on a Friday, so I'm going now to get the kettle on and dish up a cake for him. I like to treat him occasionally - after all he is the love of my life even if it did take so long to find him. Without him there would be no me now and that's the truth.
